Historic Mraz Coat of Arms
(Halbert's)

Source:  The document that my grandmother purchased for my father as a Christmas gift in the mid-1970s from Halberts.

Back to my version...

Origin: Czechoslovakian, meaning "descendant of Mraz (frost)"

The arms is as follows: "Gespalten, vorne in roth silberner, aus schwaz, silbern gefugter zinnenmduer wachsender lowe: hinten inblau schroffer, geklufteter galdener felsen."

Translation/Interpretation: "Divided, in front, red a battlement wall of black, masoned silver, a silver lion rising,; behind in blue, gold cliffs and crags."

Notes:  Information on the colors represented in a black & white drawing like this can be found here.
